Song 75: Cult of Personality, Living Colour

Early in their career, when Living Colour would play gigs, venues assumed they would be a reggae act. The Black Rock Coalition was founded in 1985 by journalist Greg Tate, producer Konda Mason and Living Colour guitarist Vernon Reid and worked to increase exposure and provide help for black artists who rock.

The band's best known song is Cult of Personality, a commentary on the trap of charismatic leaders.
